Krefeld- Uerdingen, Hohenbudberger Straße:
approximately 15 minutes by car from Dusseldorf and Duisburg, located directly on the edge of the Rhine, known as Uerdinger "Rhinearc", this former industrial complex - the HOWINOL factory - is currently being restored.

Following an international competition between four architectural practices, organised and funded by the City of Krefeld and the four owners, the vision for the regeneration of this industrial complex by Professor Coersmeier and Kipar Landscape Architects prevailed.
The vision strives to incorporate many of the existing buildings reminiscent of Uerdingen's rich industrial past and blend these with modern architecture, incorporating loft-style apartments, showrooms and design studios. Additional facilities will include restaurants and cafes / bars aimed at attracting visitors and leisure users.


Model workshop


Rheinblick 1 provides more that 3000m² of multi-purpose facilities, mostly of a loft-style design, available in parts or a whole. For example, smaller units are available from 120m².
The unique character and location of this complex, with its unrivalled views across Rhine green belt and the ample parking facilities make this a premier location.
